The appetizers make the evening more enjoyable and give new energy to work on. This recipe called Crispy Potato Peas Ball will serve us a best snack, reflects my eclectic personal taste which completely fill us with Joy of eating and serving. Do try this simple recipe and enjoy sharing.

   Total Time:30 mins    Preparation Time :15 mins      Cooking Time :15 mins       Serves :3

INGREDIENTS

 1 cup Green peas                                          

2 large potatoes                                                

1/2 tsp Pepper powder

1 tsp chilli powder 

1/2 tsp coriander powder

1/4 tsp cumin powder

Pinch of Asafoetida

Rava (semolina)

Salt as per required

Oil


DIRECTIONS


STEP 1: Boil the potatoes and peas gently in the pressure cooker.


STEP 2: Smash the potatoes and peas. Add required salt, pepper powder, chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, pinch of asafoetida to the recipe.


STEP 3: Take a scoop of potatoes and peas mixture and make it as a balls. Roll the prepared balls with Rava (semolina)
Refrigerate the balls for 5 to 10 mins. 


                                                         

Step 4: Heat the oil in the pan ,use fry strainer or mesh or colander to fry the balls until golden brown

 

Step 5: The crispy POP balls is ready to serve
 





NOTE: You can also season the potato and peas mixture with Italian herbs like oregano, chilli flakes and some chat masala so on.



BOTTOM LINE
